TEL-NT Hits Record Repairs in 2010 January 7, 2011Posted by telmarnetworks in : TEL-NT, Telecom Network Support, telecommunications, Telmar Network Technology , trackback
It’d be an understatement to say that 2010 was a big year for Telmar’s Latin American subsidiary, TEL-NT. The company delivered 30,000 repaired cards to its customer base that consists mainly of carriers in Brazil. This number represents almost 50 percent of the total repairs the company has received since operations began in 2006.
In a recent RTI article, TEL-NT’s country manager, Luiz Rosa, said the growth of the company indicates a once invisible demand in Latin America. Telecom carriers average 30 to 40 percent in savings when they send equipment to TEL-NT instead of outsourcing repairs overseas. Not to mention that the elimination of overseas repairs in local Brazilian industries can contribute to a reduced deficit and generate jobs in the country.
A repair service industry in Latin America is not an option, but a need in most cases.
-Luiz Claudio Santos Rosa, TEL-NT Country Manager
As TEL-NT continues to expand its partnerships with medium-sized manufacturers in need of a local repair facility, it’s safe to say that the new year will be nothing short of promising.
